In the meantime, she met Alec Durberville. He was a stunning yet deceitful man. Theydeveloped a relationship, though Tess wasnt happy. Alec was in the woods with Tess, where heraped her.Later, Tess meets Angel once again. Tess wishes to tell Angel what happened with Alec, but she cant. She fears his rejection.
